Difficulty getting the fire started

Fire starts ok but after a few minutes the smoke starts coming back into the room

Smell smoke upstairs

Want to keep the glass clean on my logburner when it is alight

No draw with the fire

The wind blows smoke back into the room

Can't get the stove top work properly

Cracks are appearing in the blocks within the logburner

Cracks are appearing at the back of my fireplace
